what tomorrow will bring.

So, all that worrying and wondering whether or not I should tell him, and just about everyone..who am I kidding..EVERYONE told me, Go for it! Why not?! What do you have to lose??

Hah!! Well, about 45 minutes after my exit interview, I was in a meeting with the head of a different department at my office interviewing me for a different position with the company. HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT?!?!! Here I am, thinking I'm gonna have to say good bye to everyone, and then I get put in the running for a new position.  

I will still be moving, however I will be traveling 80% of the time, and when I'm not traveling I will be working from home and I would have to go back to CT about once a month. So..I'd live in NC and make CT money.  

In-freaking-sane people.

I had no time whatsoever to let it sink in. I was meeting with people through out the day, debating all of this in my head all while trying to even figure it out at the same time. I was bouncing back and forth between talking to my co-workers and getting their opinions, to talking to my best friend (the one i'm moving with) and my mom, and a few other friends, and then in between that I'd have people bumrushing me in my cube to "borrow such and such minutes of my time".  

Apparently this cause quite the stir in my office yesterday. and was a bit of the talk around the joint. And ironically enough, I foreshadowed my day. Before I went to work my away message on AIM said "Last day at work, then dinner and pre drinks and then drink drinks." Then at the bottom of my away message I said "Ugh, I have a feeling this will be a weird day." (that's forshadow number one) Number two! When I pulled into the parking lot, I called one of my co-workers and asked if she was there yet, she said no, so I told her I was going to wait for her because I was nervous to walk in alone today because I didn't want a lot of attention on me.  HAH!!!! So much for that!!!

So whatev. In the end, they were gonig to make me an offer, but the C.O.O. stepped in to them and apparently said    "Alright guys, I think it's great we're looking in this direction but this happened quite suddenly so why don't we hold off on an offer and let it go for the weekend." Thank god for him man because, at this very moment I still am unsure as to whether or not I want it.  

But yea so go figure, I might still be a co-worker of his after all so even if I was going to mention something to him, I couldn't anyways!










(However, after about the 4th goodbye hug, I was pretty lit and said "You know!! Since I don't work with you anymore...I gotta say, I THINK YOU'RE HOT!!!....ohmygod I really kind of regret that...whyyyyyyy am I an asshole like that sometimes?!?!!? )
